Cutaneous T-cell lymphomas (CTCL) are malignant neoplasms that belong to the class of non-Hodgkin lymphomas (NHL). CTCL are a histologically and prognostically heterogeneous group. The most common CTCL variants include mycosis fungoides (MF) and Sézary syndrome (SS). The extremely variable clinical presentation, lack of a single specific diagnostic test, diverse histopathologic and immunohistochemical examination findings, and specific staging make diagnosis particularly difficult in these rare diseases. Key therapeutic goals include induction of remission, symptoms relief, and improvement of quality of life.
